Team Fiji will not be represented in Volleyball and Beach Volleyball in the Pacific Games in Samoa next month although Fiji is a medal contender in all the two sports.
FASANOC CEO Loraine Mar says all the sports not included in the list did not meet their requirements.
359 athletes from Fiji will be competing in 26 events in the Pacific Games.
Team Fiji Chef de Mission, Patrick Bower says the 26 sporting bodies have cleared their levies which was scheduled for them to pay.
Team Fiji will be departing on the 5th of next month for the Pacific Games which will be held from the 7th to the 20th of next month.
The 26 sports Fiji will be taking part in are Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Golf, Judo, Lawn Bowls, Para-Athletics, Para-Table Tennis, Powerlifting, Rugby League 9's, Rugby 7s, Sailing, Shooting, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Touch Rugby, Triathlon, Weightlifting and Va’a also known as Paddling.
