Vodafone Fiji Under 20 Rugby coach Salimoni Ravouvou believes they will give a strong game to New Zealand in their first Oceania Rugby Under 20 Championship match tonight.
The Fiji Under 20 team will be captained by former Suva Grammar School student and Suva lock Temo Mayanavanua.
Ravouvou has added some experience in the side which includes center Filimone Savou and Peni Matawalu at halfback.
Former Ratu Kadavulevu School prop, Luke Tagi will lead the front row alongside Issac Cavu and Vere Vugakoto.
Meanwhile, New Zealand have named two Fijians in their starting 23 with Otago Under 20 fullback, Jona Nareki named on the left wing and Wellington Hurricanes reserve lock and the son of former Flying Fijian captain, Kele Leawere, Isaia Walker‑Leawere named on the bench.
The match will be played at 7 tonight at Bond University in the Gold Coast.
