Fiji has settled for bronze in the Pacific Games Men’s 500 metres Va’a competition.
New Caledonia got gold while Wallis and Futuna settled for silver.
The Women’s 500 metres team failed to get a medal.
Looking at the Medal Tally, Fiji is currently fifth with 2 bronze medals.
New Caledonia is first with 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze while Tahiti is second with 2 gold.
The Fiji Men’s and Women’s 9s Rugby League teams will be competing in the semifinals of the Pacific Games today.
The Women’s team will play Samoa at 1.25pm while the Men’s team will also play Samoa at 3.30pm.
The Women’s final will start at 5.30pm while the Men’s final will start at 6pm.
The Fiji Swimming Team will also be in action today at the Pacific Games.
Some of the swimming events that will be on today are the 200 metres Men’s and Women’s breaststroke finals, Women’s 800 metres freestyle, Men’s and Women’s 50 metres Butterfly final.
The first swimming final is expected to start around 5.01pm.
Some of the Fijian swimmers that will be competing today are Matelita Buadromo, Rosemarie Rova, Yolani Blake, Netani Ross, Jeremiah Faktaufon and Damien Kitione.
