National soccer team midfielders Amani Makoe and Christopher Wasasala

This Saturday’s Rewa versus Labasa clash in the Vodafone Fiji FACT semifinal will see the great clash of top midfielders.

National soccer team midfielders Christopher Wasasala and Amani Makoe who have played exceptionally well in Fiji’s central midfield area will part ways this weekend and feature for Labasa and Rewa respectively.

Wasasala has been a standout for Fiji where he delivered well timed passes and made confident good runs in the opponents’ territory.

Meanwhile, Wasasala’s Labasa teammate Anish Khem says they have a plan ready for Rewa.

24-year-old Khem who is originally from Tovata, Labasa is a deadly striker and will one of the players to watch.

Labasa will face Rewa at 2pm this Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park while Nadi will take on Suva at 4.30pm in the second semi-final.
