The New Zealand Sevens side has edged the Fiji Airways Men's National 7s team 22-17 in the cup semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup Sevens.
Fiji born Joe Ravouvou scored two tries for New Zealand.
New Zealand scored the first try in the second minute of the first half when Ravouvou scored in the corner.
Semi Radradra scored Fiji’s first try in the 4th minute of the first half after he broke through the New Zealand defence.
Dylan Collier scored New Zealand’s second try in the first half before Amenoni Nasilasila scored for Fiji as we took a 12-10 lead at half-time.
Regan Ware and Ravouvou scored a try each in the second half as New Zealand put the game beyond Fiji.
Alasio Naduva scored a consolation try for Fiji.
Meanwhile England defeated South Africa 29-7 in the first cup semifinal.
Fiji will now play South Africa in the bronze final at 12:24pm.
New Zealand will meet England in the final of the Rugby World Cup Sevens at 12:53pm.
