Fiji has dropped to fourth place on the Pacific Games Medal tally after Samoa pulled through some medals today.
Fiji is fourth at the moment with 7 gold, 9 silver and 12 bronze.
New Caledonia is leading the medal tally with 16 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze while in second place is Tahiti with 10 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Men’s and Women’s 7s teams will be in action at the Pacific Games from tomorrow.
The Men’s 7's team will play Wallis and Futuna at 8.50am tomorrow, Fiji will then play New Caledonia at 11.24am, the national side will play Cook Islands at 3.06pm while we face Nauru at 9.56am Saturday.
The winners of the two pools will qualify for the final which will be played at 6.12pm Saturday.
The Women’s 7's team will play Solomon Islands at 7am tomorrow, they take on Nauru at 10.18am tomorrow and we play PNG at 1.38pm tomorrow.
The Fiji Men’s soccer team which leads Group B with six points will play New Caledonia at 12pm tomorrow while the Fiji Women’s soccer team will play Samoa at 2.30pm tomorrow.
The 200 metres Men’s and Women’s Freestyle events in Swimming, 100 metres Men’s and Women’s Freestyle and the 4x100metres Freestyle relay will take place tonight.
