Fiji draws with Vanuatu in Pacific Mini Games Soccer Tournament

In the Pacific Mini Games Soccer Tournament this afternoon Fiji has drawn 1-1 with Vanuatu.

Fiji’s lone goal was scored by Christopher Wasasala.

Fiji was leading in the first half of the match 1-0 however a mistake by Fiji’s Simione Tamanisau had cost Fiji its win as Vanuatu took the opportunity and drew the match.

Fiji defeated Tuvalu in its first match 8-0 and drew in its second match with Solomon Islands nil-all.

Looking at the Pacific Mini Games medal Tally, New Caledonia is leading with 18 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze, PNG is second with 14 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze, third is Samoa with 13 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze, Fiji is currently is fourth place with 11 gold, 6 silver and 12 bronze.
