Following losses to Australia and England, the Vodafone Flying Fijians are desperate to retrieve some pride against a confident Wales side that edged England 28-25 last weekend.
Fiji will have to minimize their penalty count if they are to back this up and not allow Wales flyhalf Dan Biggar to punish them.
In two matches, Fiji conceded 24 penalties, had three players yellow carded, flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu was suspended for a dangerous tip tackle and now winger Nemani Nadolo has been cited for “an alleged act of foul play” against Australia and faces a judicial hearing tomorrow.
Assistant coach Frans Ludeke said that there main aim is to score some tries against Wales.
Ludeke added that their kicking game is working out well.
Meanwhile, flyhalf Josh Matavesi has played with Biggar at Ospreys.
If they do manage to topple Wales, it would leave Australia as the only unbeaten team in Pool A but with their two toughest opponents England and Wales ahead of them.
Fiji will play Wales at 3.45am Friday.
