The Fiji Under 20 soccer team to the Under 20 FIFA World Cup has presented its i-tatau to the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau at Government House this morning.
While receiving the i-tatau on behalf of the people of Fiji, Ratu Epeli thanked the team for their commitment and dedication.
Under 20 Technical Adviser and former coach Ravinesh Kumar said it is a morale booster for the team since it is the first time Fiji qualifies for the Under 20 FIFA World Cup.
The team will leave our shores tomorrow.
Kumar says they will be heading to Sydney to play two friendly matches against the Mexico Under 20 this Friday and the Columbian Under 20 next Monday.
They will be heading to New Zealand at the end of this month for the World Cup.
Fiji is in Pool F and will play their first game against Germany on the 1st of next month, Honduras on the 4th and will meet Uzbekistan on the 7th of next month.
