Fiji Under 20 rugby team under threat of relegation

The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 rugby team along with Georgia, Scotland and Italy all face the threat of being relegated from the World Rugby Under 20 Championship.

This after the four teams finished last in their respective pools.

Fiji’s aim is to avoid finishing in 12th place in the tournament because the team that finishes last gets relegated to the World Rugby Under 20 Trophy next year. The winner of the World Rugby Under 20 Trophy next year will book a spot for the Under 20 Championship.

Argentina will face Australia while South Africa will face defending champions France in the semi finals.

Fiji will take on Georgia at 4am next Tuesday.
