The Vodafone Fiji U20 team thumped Papua New Guinea 63-0 in the opening round of the 2015 Oceania Rugby Junior Trophy at the ANZ Stadium.
Fiji started off well and their ruthless attacking strategy saw them lead Papua New Guinea 29-0 at halftime.
Fiji scored eleven tries in the match.
Tonga also had a good start to their campaign after hammering Vanuatu 81-0.
This is a qualifying tournament for the World Rugby Junior Trophy Tournament in Zimbabwe in April next year.
The team with the highest number of competition points will be the winner.
Fiji will next play Vanuatu at 5pm next Tuesday.
