The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 rugby team has qualified for the 2018 World Rugby U20 Trophy and the 2018 Oceania Rugby U20s Championship despite their 26-all draw with Tonga at Churchill Park yesterday.
Fiji qualified through points difference where they earned a bonus point in their second match after scoring four tries to Tonga’s three.
Fiji was leading 14-13 at halftime with tries to Ratu Meli Derenalagi and Peniasi Ratu.
They continued their momentum in the second half with tries to center Timoci Tavatavanawai and Veramu Dikidikilati.
The two sides earlier played to a 15-all draw.
