Action from the the Fijiana FANZ against the Indigenous Australia Budgies

The Fiji U19 Netball side went down 27-44 to Aotearoa Maori from New Zealand earlier today in their first match of the Digicel Punjas International Secondary Schools Netball Challenge.

Fiji U19 Netball Coach Filo Korovulavula says despite the 2 weeks given to prepare for the tournament, they will need to improve and focus in their upcoming game against SS Australia.

She adds that their main aim is to further develop these young players from this tournament for the upcoming U21 World Youth Championships in Botswana.

The Fiji U19 Netball side will take on SS Australia side at 1.30pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile the Fijiana FANZ defeated the Indigenous Australia Budgies 41-37 at the Vodafone Arena.
