Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union receives timely boost

The Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union received a timely boost today ahead of the schools 7s which will be held this week after 6 years.   

Fiji Secondary Rugby Union President Napolioni Silatolu said a former national rep who wishes to remain anonymous donated $5,000 for the tournament.

Silatolu said with the assistance from other sponsors, they have managed to include four new schools like Vunisea Secondary, Dawasamu Secondary, Navosa Secondary and Ratu Latianara Secondary School.

A total of 16 schools will be competing in the Under 19 grade, 17 schools for the Under 17 while the Under 15 will have 12 schools.

The Fiji Secondary Schools 7's will kick off at 8.20am this Saturday at the Suva Grammar School grounds.

Some prominent schools that will be part of the tournament are RKS, QVS, RSMS, Marist Brothers, Nasinu Secondary and Lelean Memorial School.
