Fiji Pearls lose to Silver Ferns 88-30 in Cadbury Netball Series

The Fiji Pearls lost to the Silver Ferns 88‑30 in the Cadbury Netball Series in Auckland last night.

The Fiji Pearls were trailing the Silver Ferns at half time 43-19 and in the third quarter the Silvers Ferns edged out Fiji 64‑26.

Maria Folau led the way for the Silver Ferns as she scored 40 goals from 43 attempts.

The Fiji Pearls will now face the All Stars Netball side for the 3rd place playoff at 2pm today.

The Silver Ferns will face the New Zealand Men's Netball side at 4pm today in the final.

The New Zealand Men's side outclassed the All Stars Netball side 59‑44 last night.
