Fiji Pearls finish in 14th place at the Netball World Cup

The Fiji Pearls finished in the 14th place at the Netball World Cup after they were beaten again by Samoa 53-42 in the 13th and 14th playoffs yesterday.

The first quarter saw Fiji leading by 13-11 but Samoa went in  the break leading 25‑16.

Samoa kept that momentum in the third quarter stretching their lead to 29‑19 and then 53-42 in the last quarter.

The netball semi finals will be held today with Australia taking on South Africa in the first semi finals and England against New Zealand in the second semi finals.
