Fiji Hockey teams come out victorious in Hockey World League Round 1

With the Hockey tournament coming to an end today, the Fiji Hockey teams have comfortably put themselves in the lead as the best in the Pacific.

This follows the Fiji Mens hockey team maintaining a clean record of wins throughout the tournament.

Fiji mens defeated the Vanuatu team 6-2 to comfortably put them in first place and winning gold with Vanuatu coming in second and PNG trailing in third place.

The Fiji womens hockey team successfully took Gold by defeating PNG in the final 3-2 while silver went to PNG and bronze being awarded to the Solomon Islands.

The Fiji women’s and men’s hockey teams will now travel to Malaysia for the Hockey World League Round 2 tournament to comfirm placings in the 2017 Hockey World Cup.
