The Fiji FA organized soccer tournaments from 2010 will be played for 90 minutes.
This was discussed and confirmed in the Fiji FA Council meeting yesterday in Nadi.
Association President Dr Samsud Dean Sahu Khan said Fiji Fact, BOG and IDC will be played for 90 minutes because from 2010 they will have the Super 8 format introduced.
Sahu Khan said for the first time ever they will also have playoffs for third and fourth place before the final during the tournaments.
He said with the new format from 2010, Fiji soccer will see more developments and their aim for qualifying for the 2014 World Cup playoffs may become reality.
Meanwhile, next season's soccer format is back to the old one, where Super Premier division's 10 teams will play on a home and away basis. This basically means that the Super Six and the Bottom Four competitions have been scrapped.
