Fiji Bati players to the 2017 RLWC finally receive their overdue payment

The Fiji Bati players to the 2017 Rugby League World Cup have finally received their overdue payment after reaching the semifinal.

This has been confirmed by Fiji National Rugby League Chief Executive Officer, Timoci Naleba who says the AUD$100,000 has all been cleared to the players.

Naleba says that the focus will now on a team that will take on PNG next month.

Naleba says that Matt Adamson has been appointed as an Interim coach who will for now be heavily involved in the players selection.

He adds that FNRL is working towards heavily involving local players in their upcoming games.

Fiji Bati will play PNG on the 23rd of next month.
