Fiji Barbarians to play South Africa in Oktoberfest 7s semifinals

The Fiji Barbarians have qualified for the cup semi-finals of the Oktoberfest 7s after defeating Argentina 17-12 in the cup quarters.

Experienced Fiji 7s halfback Amenoni Nasilasila side stepped his way through the Argentinian defence to score two tries for the Barbarians.

Fiji led 10-0 at halftime.

Baba's newcomer Anare Tevita scored Fiji's other tries.

Sevuloni Mocenacagi was yellow carded for a late tackle.

Meanwhile South Africa defeated Ireland 24-0 in the first cup quarterfinal to book their spot in the semis.

Fiji will take on South Africa at 4.14am in the first cup semi-final while England will play Australia at 5.07am in the second cup semi-final of the Oktoberfest 7s.
