The Fiji Barbarians drew their second pool match 26-all against Japan at the Silicon 7s.
Fiji’s tries were scored by Nacanieli Batina who scored two, Josua Kurinabuli and captain Jasa Veremalua.
Discipline was once again a major area of concern as two players were sin-binned in the match.
Fiji was winning 26-21 with Japan scoring a late try to level the scores.
Fiji will play China at 2.10pm.
Australia had thrashed Fiji 29-0 in their opening match this morning.
In other results, Chile upset New Zealand 7-nil, Australia beat China 47-nil, Canada beat England 19-10 and Samoa beat Ireland 10-5.
