The Air Pacific Fiji Barbarians registered their first win in the IRB Pacific Rugby Cup competition yesterday after they edged the visiting Tau'uta Reds from Tonga by 25 points to 24.

Fiji Barbarians were trailing 12-5 at the break but made a grand comeback in the second spell to seal the victory.

In other IRB Pacific Rugby Cup match played yesterday, the Air Pacific Fiji Warriors dealt with its second loss in Samoa when they were beaten by Upolu Samoa 13-8 and Tautahi Gold from Tonga defeated Savai Samoa by 27 points to 17.

The Fiji Barbarians remain in fifth place above bottom placed Tau'uta Reds with five points with the Warriors in fourth place and Upolu Samoa has shot to the top of the table.
