Fiji Barbarians Defeats Fiji Warriors

Air Pacific Fiji Barbarians Coach Etuate Waqa is a happy man after his inexperienced and young side beat the Fiji Warriors 29-7 at Subrail Park yesterday.

Waqa said he could not ask for more from his boys after they were able to get a bonus point, and adds his boys were motivated by the fact that they would be playing against a much experienced team.

The Barbarians were leading 7-0 at half-time and after yesterday's match they now finish in fifth place while the Warriors drop to sixth.

In the other match that was played last night; the Fiji A Under-20 side beat their Tongan counterparts by 25-10.
