The Fiji Army Bears have won the Defence Forces Rugby League World Cup following a convincing 44‑12 victory over favorites Australia last night.
The Fijians’ attack proved too strong as they ran in four unanswered tries in the first half which puts them to a 22-6 lead.
Ilikena Niumataiwalu and Aaron Joshua Vadiga both putting in impressive showings as Fiji ran away with a 44‑12 win at fulltime.
Fiji had earlier beat the United Kingdom 40‑20, they thrashed New Zealand 40‑6 before losing out to Australia in the round robin 38-24.
