The Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team will not dwell on statistics of previous disappointments and the history of poor results in the Dubai 7s.
Those are the words of Coach Gareth Baber who says that his responsibility is to prepare a team to take to individual tournaments.
He says looking back at previous results will only put more pressure on the players and distract them from the job at hand which is to take one game at a time.
Baber adds the fans can expect them to win tournaments but he cannot guarantee anything except for the players giving their best.
Baber has named a strong 13 men side for the tournament with 25-year old Kavekini Tabu set to make his debut.
Other players named are captain Paula Dranisinukula, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Isoa Tabu, Josua Vakurunabili, Meli Derenalagi, Vilimoni Botitu, Waisea Nacuqu, Jerry Tuwai, Alasio Naduva, Aminiasi Tuimaba and Terio Tamani.
The 13th player is Napolioni Bolaca
