The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team lost to South Africa 12-10 in the final of the Oktoberfest 7s tournament in Germany this morning.
Fiji’s tries came from Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Vuniona Vuki.

Fiji was leading South Africa 10-5 in the first half.
South Africa’s try came from Kurt‑Lee Arendse and a last-minute try from captain Siviwe Soyizwapi sealed the victory for the Boks.
Fiji defeated New Zealand in the semi-final 14‑12 to force their way into the final.
Meanwhile, South Africa defeated Germany in their semi-final 31‑17.
