The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team are gritting their teeth for their title defence this weekend as they are experiencing temperatures as low as 7 degrees celsius in Vancouver.
Speaking to Fijivillage from Vancouver, Coach Gareth Baber says that the team has not adapted to the cold temperature.
Baber says the weather is a challenge and the boys are coping with it.
He adds that the players have determination to show their supporters how it is like to play at this level.
Fiji will play Kenya in their first pool match of the Vancouver 7s at 6.39am tomorrow, they will then take on Canada at 10.08am tomorrow and face Samoa in their last pool game at 2.02pm .
The cup quarterfinals will start at 6.08am Monday, cup semifinals start at 10.08am and the cup final will kick off at 1.19pm also on Monday.
