The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Team has a chance to create another piece of history this weekend by winning back to back Singapore 7s tournaments.

Since the tournament began in 2016 no team has won back to back titles with Kenya, Canada and Fiji winning the tournament between them.

Fiji will also have the chance to win tournaments on consecutive weekends as they failed to do this last year.

Fiji had won five tournaments last year with four consecutive tournament wins but none of them came on consecutive weekends.

The national side had won Hamilton, Vancouver, Hong Kong and Singapore which was separated by the Commonwealth Games and Fiji had won the London 7s.

Fiji will face South Africa, Scotland and Canada in this weekend’s Singapore 7s.
