Teams taking part in the Digicel Cup competition received a timely boost from the Fiji Rugby Union with new assistance to help coaches know what to expect from their opponents.
CEO Keni Dakuidreketi said the new technology in the form of video analysing, which was introduced by FRU last year, will help the coach’s map out their game plans before a game.
Dakuidreketi added they have also decided to make use of their technical team at the rugby house to lift the standard of the Digicel Cup competition this season.
The second week of the Digicel Cup competition will see Suva hosting Northland at the Suva Grammar ground, Ovalau will play at home against Tavua, Namosi travels to Rewa with neighbours Nadroga and Navosa playing at Vatureba Park.
All of these games will kick-off at 3pm.
