FFA suspends Ali

The Fiji Football Association has suspended its National Technical Director Saiyad Ali indefinitely.

The Fiji FA Board made its decision yesterday after receiving complaints against Ali.

Meanwhile Labasa’s Sheik Ibrahim has been appointed the new Acting President of Fiji FA.

The Fiji FA Board yesterday handed the reins to Ibrahim as he is the most senior Vice President.

Another notable decision passed yesterday was the declaration that Ba is the rightful winner of last year’s National Soccer League competition.

This now means the Men in Black will represent Fiji in the O-League competition this year.

According to Ibrahim, Lautoka soccer did not appeal to its protest decision on time which was awarded to Rewa.
