The Fiji Football Association is looking for someone who has at least 10 years of “international coaching experience at the highest level” to apply for the position of National Head Coach.
This comes after former Fiji coach Christophe Gamel stepped down in August due to personal reasons.
The Fiji Football Association says the applicant must have experience in coaching teams at World Cup level.
It also says the key responsibility of the new coach will be to prepare the national team for national commitment and for World Cup qualification matches.
Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel had earlier said that they are working on signing a contract with Gamel to work as a liaison agent where Gamel will help players get overseas contracts and help Fiji in securing games.
Patel had also said that until they get a new coach, Marika Rodu will be looking after the Fiji Under-23 team.
