Emoni Narawa will start on the bench for the Blues when they take on the Crusaders tonight at Eden Park.

Narawa was also part of the team that won 32-12 over the Waratahs last week.

All Blacks prop, Ofa Tu’ungafasi has been promoted to start tonight, after putting on a good performance coming off the bench against the Chiefs and Waratahs.

Tu’ungafasi will join hooker James Parsons and prop Karl Tu'inukuafe in the front row.

Blues coach Leon McDonald says when the Super Rugby schedule is released, teams will always look at when they will face the Crusaders as they are the benchmark.

McDonald says they know the Crusaders will bring their best game to Eden park and especially after their 25-15 loss to the Chiefs last week.

The Blues will take on the Crusaders at 6.05 tonight.
