Drotini Sets Record

Fiji's Pacific Games 5000m Gold medalist Akesa Drotini stamped her mark at the Triple N zone in ACS colours, to grab the first gold medal for the all girls school and also set a new record in the Open Girls 1500m event.

Drotini ran a new time of 5 minutes and 12 seconds to break the old record of 5 minutes and 17 seconds also set by ACS.

Adi Cakobau School now lead the girls division with 2 gold medal and two silver medals and second equal is Nakasi and Shreedhar College with a bronze medal each.

In the boys division, Lelean Memorial School lead the boys division with 2 gold 2 silver and a bronze medal, second is Vunimono High with 1 gold and 2 bronze while Muaniweni College is third with a gold medal.

Competition continues at the Post Fiji stadium.
