Dreketi causes major upset beating Lautoka 2-1 in Courts IDC

The Dreketi football side has caused a major upset in the Courts IDC after beating a star studded Lautoka side by 2 goals to 1 in the last hour.

Sanaila Tuicakau scored two goals for the northerners in this match. Despite winning this match Dreketi bow out of this tournament with four points after they were walloped 5-1 by Nadi yesterday.

Lautoka will now have to wait for the result of the Suva and Nadi match later this afternoon, which will determine whether they will qualify for the semi finals.

Meanwhile, the match Nadroga and Labasa is underway in the first half with both teams locked nil-all. Labasa who have four points just needs a draw and Nadroga needs a 2-0 win to have a chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.

Following this match Suva will take on Nadi at 5.30pm. Nadi has four points needs a draw to qualify for the semis while Suva who have only one point needs to beat the Jetsetters by three clear goals.

Ba will host Rewa at 7.30pm. After two matches Ba has four points and Rewa has one point. A draw will be enough for the Men-in-black to progress for the semi-finals while Rewa needs a win.
