2007 Rugby World Cup loose head prop, Graham Dewes has been given another lifeline by the Flying Fijians coaching staff as a replacement for the injured Penijamini Makutu.

Makutu injured his arm when he was playing for Nadroga against Suva and after the final medical check it has been revealed that it will not heal in time for the RWC.

Dewes will join the team later this weekend after being dropped from the 35 member squad last month.

Also, lock forward, Sekonaia Kalou is ruled out for the two Test matches against Tonga next weekend and the following weekend but he will be reviewed before the final 30 member team is announced on the 22nd of this month.

Fiji will play Namibia in the opening Rugby World Cup pool game on the 10th of next month.
