Defence and discipline are two major areas of concern for the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team ahead of the Cape Town this weekend.
According to statistics provided by World Rugby, the national side missed an average of 9 tackles per match in the Dubai 7s.
Apart from this, Fiji leads the statistics in yellow cards.
Fiji received 6 yellow cards in four matches in the Dubai 7s where they eventually finished in 9th place.
The fixtures and pools for the Cape Town 7s are yet to be confirmed.
The Cape Town 7s kicks off on Friday.
Leading the HSBC World 7s Series standings is South Africa with 22 points, New Zealand is second with 19 points while England is in third place with 17 points.
Fiji is in 9th place on the table with 8 points.
