Crusaders star, George Bridge has given a stern warning to other Super Rugby teams if they think they can topple the three time defending champions this year.
The Crusaders will be without the services of All Blacks captain, Kieran Read, former Crusaders captain, Sam Whitelock, Ryan Crotty, Matt Todd and Owen Franks.
Bridge says their main objective this season is to win their fourth consecutive title.
He says they have a new leadership team this season and players are expecting a few changes in their structure which will be exciting for them.
Scott Barrett will captain the team this season.
He further says they know the competition will be tough this year and the only thing they need to do is to keep improving every weekend.
The Crusaders will open their Super Rugby campaign against the Waratahs at 6.05pm this Saturday.
In other Super Rugby matches this weekend, the Blues will take on the Chiefs at 6.05pm Friday, the Brumbies will face the Reds at 8.15pm Friday, the Sharks will play the Bulls at 5.10am Saturday, the Sunwolves will face the Rebels at 3.45pm Saturday, Stormers will play the Hurricanes at 1.05am Sunday while the Jaguares will take on the Lions at 11am Sunday.
