The Crusaders have re‑signed three squad members as their squad beyond 2017 starts to take shape.

Housemates Mitchell Drummond, Mitchell Hunt and George Bridge have all signed on with the seven‑time champions for at least two more years.

All three have been key in the Crusaders' unbeaten (14‑0) season, which resumes against the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday night.

Drummond has signed on until the end of 2020, while Bridge and Hunt have recommitted for two more seasons.

Wing George Bridge, 22, has nabbed eight tries in his maiden season with the team, while fellow 22‑year‑old Mitch Hunt has won a couple of games with his right‑boot in his second season.

Hunt, who stepped up at first‑five eighth when Richie Mo'unga was sidelined earlier this season, nailed a last minute penalty to sink the Reds, before stunning the Highlanders with an 82nd minute drop goal from 43m out last month.

Halfback Mitchell Drummond, 23, who has rotated with Bryn Hall this season, said he couldn't imagine playing anywhere else.

The Crusaders will take on the Hurricanes at 7.35pm this Saturday.
