The Crusaders will play all their matches in the Super Rugby finals at home in Christchurch unless they lose and are eliminated.
Superxv.com reports that this is because the defending champions finished in first place on the table after the regular season.
Should the Crusaders lose, then the final will be hosted by the team with the next highest place in the final standings of the regular season.
In the Super Rugby quarterfinals, the Crusaders will take on the Highlanders at 7.35pm Friday at Rugby League Park in Christchurch, the Jaguares will meet the Chiefs in Argentina at 10.05am Saturday, the Hurricanes will meet the Bulls at Wellington Regional Stadium at 7.35pm Saturday while the Brumbies take on the Sharks in the last quarterfinal at 10.05pm Saturday in Canberra.
