Cross House has been crowned the new champion of the Dudley High School Inter-house with 27 gold, 34 silver and 28 bronze.
In second place is Cargil House with 24 gold, 17 silver and 16 Bronze.
Hunt House finished third with 19 gold, 18 silver and 20 bronze while Baker House finished fourth with 18 gold, 18 silver and 18 bronze.
Head of PEMAC department, Pita Bainivanua says this has been a chance for them to view the abilities of their up coming athletes.
Bainivanua says they had a core of 15 students training during the off season and he expects to take a squad of 40 to the zone with other members to be picked after today’s interhouse.
Dudley High School Assistant Principal Uraia Toribau says from what he saw in the long distance competition he surely can see that Dudley will make some upsets at the games.
Toribau says they are thankful that some of their sprinters are back with the likes of Aloisa Ralogaivalu who earned a silver medal in last year’s Coca-Cola games.
Josefa Raibili of Hunt house collected the blue ribbon with a time of 11.38second while Ralogaivalu took out the 100m senior girls with a time of 13.59seconds.
