Conor McGregor will need to find a new sparring partner ahead of his bout against Floyd Mayweather, as Paul Malignaggi will not continue working with the UFC star.
Malignaggi who officially retired from professional boxing earlier this year signed on to work with McGregor ahead of the bout on August 27.
Malignaggi says that he wanted to be part of the event, but did not want to become the story.
Paul Malignaggi is a former two‑weight boxing world champion.
The 36-year-old says he will not be releasing any information about McGregor’s game plan or what he's working on.
Malignaggi says it has become a fiasco and it's a circus.
The boxing match between Mayweather and McGregor will be held on the 27th of this month.
