The Congo Waimanu 7s has kicked off this morning with the Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou officially opening it.
The winner will walk away with $5,000 as 34 registered men’s teams from around the country gets ready to showcase their talents.
Some of the local rugby powerhouse teams in the tournament include Police, Marist Veivanua and Army.
The pool games will be held today while the quarterfinals, semis and the final will be held tomorrow.
The Congo Waimanu 7s is currently held at Ratu Cakobau Park.
