Codro released to play for Suva in the Inkk Mobile BOG semifinal

The Suva soccer team has been given a boost as key player Meli Codro has been released by his employees, the Fiji Police Force to play in the Inkk Mobile BOG semifinal against Lautoka tonight.

Suva also have capable players like Remueru Takiate, Sairusi Nalaubu, Ratu Anare, Christopher Wasasala, national team goal keeper, Simione Tamanisau and imports Gagame Feni and Jacky Reuban.

Both Suva and Lautoka are unbeaten in the group stages.

Coached by Anginesh Prasad, Lautoka came in as underdogs in the Group.

Their hopes rest on the shoulders of the all‑important defence of goalkeeper Benaminio Mateiniqara, Jone Vesikula, Zibraaz Sahib, Edward Justin and Solomon International Benjamin Totori.

Labasa will play Nasinu in the first semifinal at 6.30 tonight while Lautoka will play Suva in the second semifinal at 8.30pm.

The final will be played at 4pm tomorrow.
