Coca Cola Games will start on a Tuesday and finish on a Thursday this year

The Coca Cola Games will start on a Tuesday and finish on a Thursday this year.

The Ministry of Education has approved the request sent by Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association to have the games from the 16th to 18th of April.

This request was made as the term one school holidays start on 19th April which is Good Friday.

Association’s Secretary Vuli Waqa says events on Day 1 will begin around midday after the official opening.

He says they want the closing ceremony to take place before 5pm on 18th April to give students and teachers enough time to return to their schools and homes.
