Clermont has won the European Challenge Cup for the third time beating La Rochelle 36‑16 in St James' Park.
Clermont tries came from wing Damian Penaud, number eight Fritz Lee and centre Wesley Fofana, while Clark Laidlaw added four penalties and three conversions with Morgan Parra booting a penalty.
Alivereti Raka, Peceli Yato and Apisai Naqalevu featured for Clermont in the match.
Raka got a yellow card.
Levani Botia featured for La Rochelle.
The European Challenge Cup is the second‑tier competition for European clubs behind the European Rugby Champions Cup.
