Team Fiji Weightlifter Eileen Cikamatana won gold in the Women's 90kg Group A competition in the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan over the weekend.
The 18‑year‑old had a snatch of 111kg and a clean and jerk of 142kg which gave her a total of 253kg setting 12 new records; three in the Commonwealth Senior Championships, Commonwealth Junior Championships, Oceania Senior Championships and the Oceania Junior Championships.
Cikamatana's attention will now be on the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia where she said she is not only eyeing a medal but to break more records.
