The 2016-2017 English Premier League season has finished and champions Chelsea became the first English side to register 30 top‑flight victories in a 38‑game season as they said farewell to captain John Terry with a comfortable win over Sunderland 5-1.
In other matches Arsenal beat Everton 3-1, Tottenham thrashed Hull City 7-1, Leicester and Bournemouth were locked at 1-all, Liverpool bear Middlesbrough 3-nil, Manchester United beat Crystal Palace 2-nil, Stoke City beat Southampton 1-nil, Swansea City beat West Brom 2-1 while, Manchester City thrashed Watford 5-nil.
Chelsea finished the EPL points table with 93 points, Tottenham finished second with 86 points while, Manchester City finished third with 78 points.
