A lot of changes are expected to be made in the IRB world rankings with another round of Pacific Nations Cup this weekend.
Samoa currently lies in second place in the PNC standings after beating Tonga 27-13 earlier this week, and a victory over Fiji tomorrow, who are ranked two places above them in ninth position in the IRB tankings, will see Samoa return to the Top 10 for the first time in nearly two years.
The two sides would swap places with a Samoan victory, but if Fiji were to repeat their 34-17 victory in last year's Pacific Nations Cup, then both would retain their positions.
In the other match, Japan have won the last two meetings in the Pacific Nations Cup, and if they beat Tonga by 15 points then Tonga will fall to 16th position, if Tonga wins they will remain in 14th place.
In tomorrow's Pacific Nations matches at 12:10pm, Japan meet Tonga and at 3:10pm the Flying Fijians meet Samoa and a commentary of the match can be heard on our sister station Viti FM.
