Canadian National to apply for Fijian citizenship and to feature for the Fiji soccer team

23-year-old Nicholas Prasad who is a Canadian citizen is expected to apply for Fijian citizenship and feature for the Fiji soccer team against Mauritius and New Caledonia in a triangular series next month.

Prasad whose father is originally from Fiji has played for a fourth tier team in Germany and is a semi-professional player.

The Fiji Football Association is currently trying to make arrangements to fly Prasad to Fiji and lodge neccessary documents with the Immigration Department.

Meanwhile, Roy Krishna is confirmed to feature for Fiji against Mauritius.

The Fiji soccer team will play New Caledonia on the 18th of next month at the ANZ Stadium and then face Mauritius on the 24th at Churchill Park.
