Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina has won the 2014 Fiji Pro this morning.
The win also sees Medina reclaim surf’s world number one ranking.
The 20 year old secured his second win from just five starts in 2014 defeating American Nat Young 18.40 to 14.77 in the final at Fiji’s Cloudbreak reef.
Former Fiji Pro Champion Kelly Slater, a quarter-finalist at Fiji, remains in the hunt for a 12th world title sitting in third place on the rankings.
